National Restrictions Support Grants
As noted in recent updates, the government have announced grants available for businesses required to close by law as a result of the second period of lockdown.
These are to be administrated and allocated by the local council and are based on the rateable value of the business property. Maximum grants available are as follows:
- Properties with a rateable value of £15k or under can receive up to £1,334 per month (or £667 per two weeks)
- Properties with a rateable value of between £15k and £51k or under can receive up to £2,000 per month (or £1,000 per two weeks)
- Properties with a rateable value in excess of £51k can receive up to £3,000 per month (or £1,500 per two weeks)
The grants are not automatic, granting is not guaranteed, and they do require online application to the local authority.
